Brokeford Stud was established in 1975 with the purchase of the Holsteiner colt Siegfried. The breeding program was established with the importation of the Premium champion stallion Romedio. Since then many generations of easy to train, friendly, sound Holsteiner horses have been bred that have reached international level in dressage, showjumping and eventing.
