ABOUT Weltmeyer
PEDIGREE:
His sire World Cup I was winner of the stallion approval for the stallions that were reared in Hunnesruck, winner of his stallion performance test, twofold vice-champion DLG stallion and was proclaimed "Hanoverian stallion" of the year in 1997. The dam state premium mare St. Anka is a full-sister of the sire Abgott (Dillenburg state stallion) and Amazonas (privates stallion Rhineland). Mated with Grande, she earlier on produced the advanced dressage horse Giaccomo 3. The granddam Adelsbuch is a half-sister of Sheila (by Shogun xx), who is represented at the Celle state stud by her popular sons Wanderbursch I and II (by Wanderer). This line also produced the Warendorf state stallion Arianer.
PERFORMANCE:
After winning the 1986 stallion approval in Verden, Weltmeyer became the best 3-year-old German riding horse in Vechta in 1987 and won the stallion performance test in Adleheidsdorf with good results in all disciplines. He won a conformation show class for approved stallions at the CHI in Hanover in 1988, and in 1989 was DLG exhibition champion in Frankfurt. Weltmeyer has meanwhile been promoted to advanced level, and because of his popularity, has been modelled in bronze.
PROGENY:
Weltmeyer began a sheer incomparable career as a sire from the outset. He meanwhile has more than 60 approved sons and around 190 state premium mares to boast. His stallion sons Williams Gold, Wittinger and Wolkentanz won at the Verden approvals, whereas Wonderful, Wolkenstein II, White Star and Welt Hit II each became approval vicechampions respectively. In addition to this, Wittinger, Weltbiirger, Wolkenstein II, Wolkentanz I, White Star, Welt Hit I O and Wildrose were victorious at the Federal Riding Horse Championships whereas his sons Wittinger, Wolkenstein II, Weltbiirger, Wie Weltmeyer, White Star, White Magic and Welt Hit I O were stallion performance test winners. On top of that, there are a number of top quality auction horses such as Weltspitze who fetched a price of DM 590.000 in Vechta in the spring of 1997. Of his first crops, Wie Weltmeyer succeeded effortlessly in bounding into the Grand Prix dressage arena, where he has already tallied up successes. For years now, Weltmeyer has been leading in the FN breeding value rating for dressage. His progeny are nevertheless also above average in showjumping.
