With the
stallion Candillo Z Studfarm Zangersheide has acquired another top-class sire
from Holstein. After Candillo Z stood in Holstein for several seasons, he created
sensation in the international showjumping sport under Thomas Konle. In
addition, Candillo Z is easily the best son of Cassini I in breeding. A whole
series of his offspring from his first three breeding years is now performing
at national level (S) in the showjumping sport, such as Nelly, Cando, Never
Forget, Cassy, Coritano, Candilla, Castaway, Chaparro, Casino, Linos and Blue
Eye. The Candillo Z products Cassabachus (Goeff Billington), Castana (Meredith
Michaels), Caballero (Cecilia Eide) and Cantos (Niklas Arvidsson) are all
successful in the international showjumping ring. Candillo’s dam Desy carries
the required amount of thoroughbred blood via her sire Grundyman xx. Grandam Texas enjoys great reputation as dam of the
licensed stallions Flemmingh (Lacapo), Gaspari I-II (Grundyman xx) and Littorio
(Lord). This Holsteiner sport lineage 3558 also produced the international
showjumping horses Chanel M (Thiess Luther), Gran Corrado (Yves Houtackers),
Latinus (Robin Sweely), Cantate Z (Rodrigo Pessoa) and Non Plus Ultra
(Katharina Offel).
