After winning his 30 day stallion test with a top score in the dressage and jumping index, Sunny Boy won the small final at the national young horse championship of the six year old dressage horses and has long since accumulated many victories at S level. Sunny Boy joins excellent rideability of three outstanding gaits; of which the relaxed pacey walk and the ideal uphill canter are particularly sensational. Sunny Boy is a descendant of one of the most successful dam lineages in Germany and was multi-champion Sandro Hit’s first approved son. Dam Fantastica is the full-sister to the German federations dressage breeding champion and international Grand Prix winner Don Schufro as well as “blood identical” to top producer Don Primero, in addition he produced Karin Rehbein’s successful stallion Capuccino. In 2006 Sunny Boy trumped with the utmost modern, spectacular mover and correspondingly top-priced premium stallions (Oldenburg: 120,000 euros, Westphalia 180,000 euros). To date Sunny Boy has over 14 approved stallions to his name. In 2006 many elite auction horses and foals have been sold for above-average prices. Almost the Best was distinguished in Rastede. His highly successful progeny have brought Sunny Boy a breeding value of 140 points.
The Stud Fee excludes delivery.The covering season begins on 1st January and ends on 31st July.For Fresh/Chilled semen we will send semen throughout the current breeding season until a pregnancy is achieved. For broodmares who have not conceived or have reabsorbed, half of the paid stud fee from the previous year is credited, provided that a veterinary attestation is submitted by 1st December. If this document has not been submitted by this date, the credit is regrettably not possible. Broodmares that have been inseminated after the 1st July of the respective year for the first time and have not conceived, will receive a free covering (within the respective price category). Please note, that also in this case, the veterinary attestation must be submitted by 1st December.
Frozen semen is also available sold per dose at a price of £224 per dose. You are free to purchase as many doses as you wish. We would recommend a minimum of two doses per mare. If no pregnancy results after the inseminations with frozen semen there is no refund. Please see our breeding contract for full details.
